Recreation Centre Upgrade
Due to funding from the Regional and Local Community Infrastructure Program Fund ($100,000) and the Country Local Government Fund ($29,649) the Shire is undertaking a number of works at the Recreation Centre including:
· Replacement of worn roof panels and gutters;
· Painting of the roof;
· Replacement of the sewer line and other plumbing works;
· New floor coverings and painting throughout (courtesy of the Prison Work Camp);
· Construction of an umpires room; and
· Installation of turf between the oval and the verandah area.
There may also be the opportunity to do additional works such as some landscaping, dedicated entryway to the Rec Centre and installation of shelters for the netball courts.
