An exciting opportunity exists for an Administration Officer – Governance & Emergency to support Council in meeting the organisations legislative, statutory and performance obligations, this includes undertaking and providing efficient, accurate and confidential administrative duties in the coordination, preparation, recording and distribution of Council agendas and minutes.
ADMINISTRATION OFFICER Full Time
The Shire requires an enthusiastic individual with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, someone who has excellent computer skills in MS Office (word, excel PowerPoint and outlook).
You will ideally have demonstrated high level of organisation and time management skills and an ability to work under pressure, whilst still being able to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Local Government experience is desirable but not essential.
Applicants must have:
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (word, excel PowerPoint and outlook).
- Developed Time Management and organisation skills
- Developed public relations, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed administration skills
- Developed verbal and written communication skills
- A current unrestricted Drivers’ Licence (minimum C-class).
This position is level 5 (Local Government Industry Award 2010) with a salary of up to $51,000 per annum plus allowances, up to 14% superannuation, uniform and other benefits
