As part of its strategy to increase the use of the Caravan Park, the Shire will be constructing a three bedroom caretaker’s residence. It is anticipated that there will be someone local who will be prepared to live in the caretaker’s residence that will have responsibility for handling caravan, recreational vehicle and camping bookings, as well as undertake the cleaning and gardening.

The construction will be of a kit home variety and will also have a verandah and carport.
