Governance and Compliance Co-Ordinator

The Shire of Wyalkatchem has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent Governance and Compliance Co-Ordinator to join our team. Working with the management team and council, this important position is responsible for ensuring the Shire is compliant with major legislation and regulatory frameworks.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in a governance and/or regulatory environment; the ability to interpret, apply and ensure compliance with legislation; possess high level written communication and interpersonal skills; strong administrative and organisational skills; and the ability to work unsupervised within a team environment.

The salary for this position is $87,456 per annum plus superannuation and rent-free housing with a generous utilities allowance. In addition to working for a supportive Shire with a great culture, the successful applicant will also enjoy the following benefits:
