Get ready for a big weekend in Wyalkatchem, with rodeo action, country entertainment, free boot scooting and a community market all happening across Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September 2026.

The Wyalkatchem Rodeo brings the outback spirit to life with a full day (and night) of thrills, spills, and country hospitality. Whether you're a local or a visitor, there's something for everyone, from serious rodeo action to family-friendly entertainment all weekend long.

FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER | 6PM–8PM

Free Boot Scooting

Kick off your Wylie weekend with free boot scooting at the Wyalkatchem Community Club.

Arrive early, set up camp and kick up your heels before the big rodeo weekend gets underway. Just a 5- minute walk from the campground, bar on-site.

Wyalkatchem Rodeo + AFL Grand Final

The main event has arrived!

Saddle up for the Wyalkatchem Rodeo, with a full program of thrills, spills and live entertainment, followed by the AFL Grand Final on the big screen.

Enjoy rodeo action, food and drink, live entertainment and a big night of country fun.

Ticket prices:

  • Adults: $70
  • Pensioners and kids: $55
  • Kids under 12: Free

Bar: Open 11am–11.59pm. Strictly no BYO alcohol.

Wyalkatchem Community Market

Stay a little longer and discover more of Wylie!

Spend your Sunday morning at the Wyalkatchem Community Market, with food, coffee and local stallholders, along with opportunities to explore more of the town including the Road Safety Truck, CBH Agricultural Museum and check out the Wildflower Trail while you're here.
