Ms Sabine Taylor has resigned as Shire of Wyalkatchem CEO and Council thanks Sabine for her contribution to the local government and community. Council has appointed Mr Ian McCabe as Acting CEO until recruitment and appointment of a nominal Chief Executive Officer is completed. Due to legislative caretaker provisions this is likely to occur following the October Council elections.

Ian is a former Shire of Wyalkatchem CEO (2013 – 2018), a qualified accountant and experienced local government and not for profit CEO and is very supportive of this community. Please make Ian welcome.

The next Council meeting is this Thursday 17 July commencing at 4pm in Council Chambers. This is a public meeting and community members are invited to attend.
