The WA Electoral Commission will commence the issue of postal ballot papers for the local government election from Friday 12 September 2025. There are five candidates for four offices as councillor and this is a preferential vote. Your vote is important and the Shire of Wyalkatchem is encouraging all eligible voters to participate in the election.

This election is a great expression of Australian democracy and caring for our community.   Please be respectful of all candidates and be aware that making and distributing untrue statements may result in prosecution under the Local Government Act. Fines and sanctions may apply.
