Two Shire of Wyalkatchem councillors were recognised for their professional development efforts at the recent local government convention. Councillor Mischa Stratford and Councillor Christopher Loton received certificates at the West Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) convention in Perth, 23 September. Cr Stratford was awarded a scholarship toward completing a Diploma in Local Government and Cr Loton in recognition of his completion of several modules of the Diploma. All at the Shire of Wyalkatchem congratulate both councillors on their continued development as community representatives and wish them well for the remainder of this journey.
