On behalf of Council and my colleagues, I am pleased to inform the community that the long-promised cricket nets are open for business. This project commenced with a council decision in March 2023 and thanks to renewed focus by management has been delivered under budget and within the agreed timeline. Sincere thanks to Aldo Lamas for project management and acknowledgments to our friends at the West Yorkrakine Cricket Club who stumped up (no pun intended) $5,000 in funds to add to council and CSRFF funding to make this project a reality.
