A Special Meeting of Council will be held to take declarations of office from new elected members, elect a President and Deputy President and conduct a ballot for seating arrangements.

Former councillors have been invited to witness this event, and members of the public are welcome.

We are all fortunate to live in a great country and society that values the right to vote, the value of all people to contribute and the opportunity to have a life in peace with our families.  The election of members of our community to express these values is a great validation of our shared democracy.

Proceedings commence at 6pm sharp Monday 20 October 2025 in Council Chambers, Flint Street Wyalkatchem.
