Vote Now!
The local government election is being conducted by postal vote. If you've not received your election package or it's damaged or lost - or if you have any
questions about how to vote - please visit the Shire of Wyalkatchem administration office today.
Electors are asked to lodge their ballot paper at the shire office as the postal system will not allow for transport back to Wyalkatchem by the time of the count. Be sure to follow the instructions and sign the declaration, and lodge it at the shire as soon as possible.
The WA Electoral Commission has plenty of information about the local government elections happening across the state on their website
https://www.elections.wa.gov.au/elections/local including progressive counts of votes cast. You may be interested to know Wyalkatchem leads the state in percentage of electors who have voted so far at 54% of eligible voters (the state average is 26%).
The Shire of Wyalkatchem administration will be open 8am to 6pm on Saturday 18 October (election day) and the count will commence at 6pm.
